Internal Team Brand Communications Workshop

The purpose of the Brand Communications workshop would be to explore the following objectives of business communication:

    • To establish what the purpose of that department is
    • To establish what the Brand of the department would like to project and convey to the other business units and external customers through their business communication skills
    • To establish what actions and business communication the leadership and staff within that department would expect from one another to support/build that vision of the Team Brand
    • To identify any current challenges and gaps that need focus and addressing in order to achieve that Internal Team Brand vision
    • To leave the internal and external customer with a positive brand experience of your team
  • To establish what the Brand of the department would like to project and convey to the other business units and external customers through their business communication skills
  • To establish what actions and business communication the leadership and staff within that department would expect from one another to support/build that vision of the Team Brand
  • To identify any current challenges and gaps that need focus and addressing in order to achieve that Internal Team Brand vision

The objectives of the Branding Workshop include:

  • Establishing if the team has a unified vision of their services and functions, and where they differ in attitude, clarity, delivery expectations and business communication for the brand
  • Identifying the main areas of conflict, tension and expectations that are unmet and developing effective business communication channels through which to address these
  • Identifying where staff are not supporting one another to deliver on their function
  • Identifying where other departments are not supporting the function of that department
  • Uniting the team’s understanding of what they are to the business and what they would like their team to be known for
  • The beginning Goals and Actions to support that vision

Workshop Structure: This workshop takes place in two parts for maximum effect

As this is an entry level team business communication and branding workshop, we will focus on establishing the unified message first and then unpack the challenges that stand in the way of achieving that goal.

Workshop 1: Establishing the Brand and beginning to address the challenges

Workshop 2: Reporting back on the group goals and assignments. Further identification of critical areas that need addressing in the team through open and engaging business communication.

All workshops are practical and interactive, including hand-outs and workshop materials. Workshops take place on client’s premises during office hours.

Post Workshop: A brief report can be given on the findings and an analysis on the development areas that is needed for team and leaders alike (This is optional).

Follow Up: As this is an introductory and exploration workshop for teams, we would encourage further team sessions post this workshop to address this complex facet of team communications and goals with more depth.
